Summary

Amends the

National Measurement Act 1960
in relation to: the powers of trade measurement inspectors to issue a notice to remedy, to investigate potential breaches in public areas of business premises and to give directions to controllers of business vehicles; offences relating to the use and repair of measuring instruments; the extent to which the definition of ‘use for trade’ applies to the determination of fuel tax credits; and technical amendments.
